I live on a military base and the houses we live in was built in the 1940’s. Well, they just decided to start building new houses and all the houses they’re tearing down are plastered with warning signs because they contain asbestos. So my house contains asbestos too. No one ever told us that our house contains asbestos. I’m nine months pregnant and concerned for my health and the baby’s. Could this asbestos hurt me? I’ve hammered a few nails in the wall and we’ve had some water damage to our walls as well (some of the walls in this house are cinder block and the water from the outside was seeping in to the house, also our ac flooded the home and in turn flooded a closet and seeped through a wall that’s not cinder block.
