Asbestos Limits
I’d really rather have the assbestos removed rather than going over it, but I’m really limited on money. Does anyone know how much this would cost to be removed? I live in the southern Maine region.
Left undisturbed ,it is not harmful
Encapsulation by going over w/ new siding is an acceptible soluiton.
An abatement must be done by a certified contractor.
Removal & legal disposal = $$$$
Being in Maine, might just leave it there & call it another layer of weather protection.
Another consideration…., it is actually “greener” to leave it in place than put it back into the enviornment .
