Asbestos Removal?

I just purchased an investment property. It is a two family home. There is no one living in it. I found some asbestos wrapped around some pipes in the basement. I want to remove it myself, but I want to do it safely. What do I have to do in order to get the job done safely.

    Asbestos is dangerous when it is in powder form. Just keep it moist as you work on it. Do not allow it to become air born. This can happen when you use power tools on it. Remember Moist at all times.
