Asbestos Health Risks

Just moved in a house that has asbestos siding??? Can this harm us…we don’t come in direct contact…?
So I was just wondering what the health risks are???
Asbestos is inhaled through dust. If it becomes or is lose or “friable” then you may inhale particles of dust that contain asbestos. Long term exposure to the particles is what causes the cancer called mesotheloma. If a piece does come lose put on a dust mask & simply put some duct tape over the small area untill you can have it fixed.
- asbestos was once widely use because it was a great insulator. It held heat in pipes, houses. & also because it bonded so well with other materials glues, tiles.
- You’d be surprised what was once made out of asbestos & how many times you’ve been around it.
